The Early Years Funding Portal (EYFP) is a comprehensive system for managing government-funded childcare hours for children aged 9 months to 4 years.

Key Features

  • Child Management - Register and manage children's records, including personal details, medical information, and funding eligibility
  • Funding Submissions - Create and track funding claims for each funding period
  • Parent Portal - Allow parents to complete and sign funding declarations online
  • GOV PDF Forms - Generate official DfE-styled parental declaration forms with automatic ethnicity codes and manager details
  • Additional Extras - Track chargeable items like meals and activities, displayed on funding agreements
  • Attendance Tracking - Record funded and paid hours for each child
  • Multi-Nursery Support - Staff can be assigned to multiple nurseries with job titles and manager flags

User Roles

The portal supports different user roles with varying permissions:

  • Nursery Staff - Day-to-day management of children and submissions
